You need someone that specializes to have results on roofing SEO.

It’s a long-term process because for a new website, you need at least 12 to 14 months in order to hit the first page of Google.
How do I know it?
Because I have done SEO several times before for many, many clients and many, many industries.
And that means that if you stop doing SEO for a month, your website will not, fall, instantly in the second page or it will vanish like, Google Ads.
8. Better rapport, communication and feedback with your clients
That means that your clients contact you directly, not with another medium like Google business profile.
If it’s a negative feedback, you have to find who is this client, what happened, call them back, etc.
You have direct communication.
That means that you own your client.
It’s not it’s not like a client from Booking or Airbnb.
9. Reputation Management
You can build more than one website in order to control the reputation, the fame of your business.
If someone likes to complain or write something negative about you, like press is doing with, President Trump, you can control it by having many digital assets, many websites, Facebook, etc. in order to write the opposite or to have a better reputation management.
STEP 1
1. Set Up and Optimize Google Business Profile (GBP)
This is crucial for local visibility.
You can register on our newsletter.

The first step is to set up an optimized Google business profile.
Google Business Profile is crucial for local visibility, and you can have more than one if you are serving more than one areas or locations and you have more than one area’s physical address.
You need at least one physical address in order to rank higher on this area for local visibility.
1.1 Claim your listing at google.com/business
1.2 Use your actual business name
1.3 Add NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistently across all online directories
And the third, and that’s very crucial, is to add your Name, Address, Phone, the so called NAP, consistently across all online directories eg. Divramis Roofing.
We’re in Fifth Avenue, New York, and the phone number is this.
1.4 Choose the main category as Roofing Contractor (primary)
If you see in the Google Map here, the businesses that are ranking first on a Google business profile are often contractors.
That’s not so good.
Also, you can see the reviews.
You need to be roofing contractor.
This is the main category you need to take as a primary category.
Avoid secondary categories because you need to be 100% clear with Google.
1.5 Add high-quality photos of jobs, team, and trucks
You need to prove that you are a real company and inside and outside the place you have been listed as a Google based profile.
1.6 Get real reviews (and respond to them)
Reviews are not 100% ranking factor, and you can see it here.
Many other things are also ranking factors.
For instance, websites, and many other things.
1.7 Post weekly or monthly updates and offers
We have a FITTYX system here.
You need to open all your social media, for instance, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, and X, plus Google Business Profile.
And you need at least one post monthly, at least one, with your hashtag.
That will be, for instance #divramis or #divramisroofing.
It’s better to use, the the shortest name or domain name possible and the shortest hashtag possible.
STEP 2
2.On page site roofing SEO for roofers
2.1 Choose a branded plus roofing domain name e.g. divramisroofersnnewyork.com
Never use the word roofers or roofing twice in your URL structure.
If you choose a name like roofingnewyork.com, you have to add the word roofers because there are the two main keywords in the pages.
These are enough.
If you do your own research and try to find many keywords, you’ll mix up your website with roofing contractor Astoria, emergency roofing, commercial roofing.
You don’t need that.

2.2 Open area or location pages like
divramisroofersnnewyork.com/roofing-astoria/
divramisroofersnnewyork.com/roofing-manhattan/
2.3 Write 1200 words pages with all the basic keywords
You need 1,200 words page with all the basic keywords, like roofing Astoria, commercial roofing Astoria, metal roofing Astoria, flat roof Astoria, etc.
Be careful with topical authority and on page SEO.
We are roofers.
We are not plumbers.
We are not doing any siding.
We are not doing any parks, porches.
We’re not doing any sidewalks or windows or whatever.
You are only a roofer, and you can get on the first page of Google with topical authority as a roofer, not as a web designer, not as a SEO agency, not as a sewage cleaner or electrician or whatever.
So don’t write nothing about it in your website.
What is topical authority?
Topical authority is the relativity of your topic with what the people are searching in Google every day.
2.4 Open About us page, Contact us, Terms of use, Areas or Location we serve, Blog
Be careful with the cannibalization.
For instance, if you go to my website, I have services, a blog, a newsletter, a get a quote, etc.
We need them, we need them in order to rank in Google because you don’t need a one page website.
We need a website that has 50 pages at least or 100 pages that outruns the competition, and that means that we have done a lot of work in order to do the website.
Another thing that you have to take into consideration is branding.
Use a one color logo.
Use at least two colors, red and white, not 30 colors for your group for your website.
2.5 Mobile first design
Not mobile friendly, but mobile first.
99% of the people are using their mobile phone in order to find a roofer or a professional or another professional service.
So you need, to be the first thing they will find on the mobile phone, not on the desktop.
2.6 Clickable phone number
2.7 Load under 1 second
2 seconds are acceptable.
Anything above three seconds is not good for your SEO because the speed is a local factor, local ranking factor.
2.8 Open at least 40 locations, 5 every month to 100
The target is 100 locations.
Even you are not serving these locations, they will help you in order to have internal linking.
One page is linked to another and raises a whole website.
2.9 Beware of keyword cannibalization while building topical authority
If you have, for instance, a page that talks about roofing Astoria, you don’t need a blog all about roofing Astoria
Or 10 if you have a a page about roofing in Manhattan, you don’t need another blog or another sort of blog post about the 10 best roofers in Manhattan.
2.10 Interlink the locations
And if it’s possible, put them on the footer and put them on the Aeas or Locations we share even in the blog because you need to have them on more internal links than the competition.
Think like Wikipedia.
Wikipedia has internal links for almost everything.
It has more than 100 links per page, and it’s not getting banned or getting a penalty from Google.

3. Off page roofing and roofers SEO
3.1 Citations & Directory Listings
Submit your business to:

HomeAdvisor

Local Chamber of Commerce
Make sure NAP is consistent across all platforms
Be careful with your NAP.
Make sure NAP is consistent across your platforms like Yelp, HomeAdvisor, Better Business Bureau, House Nextdoor, Local and Chamber of Commerce, or other website or local directory applies to you.
Like, if you are a hotel, you need to be everywhere.
That means that you need not only Search Engine Optimization, but Search Everywhere optimization.
The same applies to Facebook.
On your Facebook page or your Instagram page, you need to have consistent written your NAP or consistently type your NAP.
3.2 Build at least 5 backlinks for every location
It doesn’t matter if we have the better website, better in design.
You will have the best website in design or better than the competition.
We have content marketing that makes everyone call us.
It doesn’t matter.
You need backlinks so you need to rank.
The ranking process starts from day one, and the day one is the day you have done the first backlink.
3.3 Use the power of PR for speed backlinks and reputation management
Many of them are cheap, and many of them are expensive.
We can find cheap PR services and do more than one and place different links for your website in order to run better and in order for AI sale.
STEP 4
4 Repeat the same process
What process?
Repeat the three steps above by building local website e g.
Roofing in Jackson Heights, roofing Queens, roofing Wood Heaven, roofing Bushwick, roofing Richwood, roofing Long Island City, roofing West Village, roofing Lower Manhattan, roofing Harlem.
How can we figure out how many locations?
You can see on Google, every location is location.
Like Richmond Hill is location.
Canal City is location.
South Williamsburg is a location.
Williamsburg is a location.
If we have so many locations, we’ll need at least 100 locations for New York.
That means you will have better ranking for this location.
And if someone will search for this location and you have 30 searches per month, you will be first.
And that’s a point.
You need long tail keywords and to cover every location possible.

4.1 Repeat the same process by building local websites eg
roofing-astoria.com
And by building local websites like Roofing Astoria, you will hit the first results for roofing Astoria.
One has done one have used the same exact match domain and they are first one in the local results, in place sites like Tripadvisor, MapQuest, Astoria Roofing, New York.
You have done exactly what I told you, and almost every website will be the same here.
You need to do the same in order to rank first on Google.
4.2 Repeat the same process by building county or statewide websites like
roofingnewyork.com etc
You need websites with regions, with locations, etc.
How many websites?
As many as you can.
For instance, for a sewage cleaning company in Athens, Greece, we have built more than 70 websites.
For, plumbers, more than 35.
For another, electrician, more than 6.
This is a digital state.
It’s your digital business.
You need websites, not a website.
We need websites in order to link them together and outrun the competition.
And the more you do, the better you will go on Google, on Bing, on whatever other search engine.
SEO is not only for Google.
It’s for every search engine like Yahoo, like ChatGPT, like Gemini etc.
You will do better and better with SEO.
